The weekend life..

Hello chilly world!

It’s the month of February and it’s freezing over here in Delhi.

The warmth of my cozy blanket and the fact that I don’t have to set an alarm to wake up early gives so much relief that I just cannot get out of my bed! The fact that you don’t have to work, or have to see the traffic for the next 2 days is the best feeling.

However, it’s important that you take out time and do things that you simply love to do. As a working woman, I don’t get a lot of time for myself, so, I believe that the weekend is the best time to do what you really want to do. Whether it is reading, watching television, cooking, do yoga/exercise or, being with your family.

For most of the Saturdays, the best antidote to my monotonous life is meeting my graduation friends and talking about all the silly stuff we use to do 3 years back. I have always cherished those days when there were no worries on how we have to build a career, work towards a good life, etc, etc. Life is pretty rough as you know.

On Sundays, I simply lie dead on my bed and watch television. That’s how I am! The “lazy butt” as you may call me but I love being that ways. Cause sometimes you need that therapy after a long week. I do go for a jog in the park nearby my home during the evenings. Help my mom with the dishes in the kitchen sometimes. Watch Netflix. Eat. Sleep a little more. And that’s about it. 😛

I would love to know what your weekend life is all about. Do share the kind of stuff you guys do and I’ll see you soon in my next blog!

Yours typically, me!

The First Post

Namaskar Duniya! (or, Hello World!)

Just like any other blogger in the universe, I also thought of building a blog of my own where I can pour my thoughts and experiences with the world and know about their lives as well.

I am a typical Delhi (“Dilli“, as we call it here) born girl, living with her parents and younger brother who works for the corporate 5 days a week (sometimes during weekends as well) who’s in search of a refresh button from the daily schedule.

For beginners, I will be posting about stuff that I did during the week, something new, something old. Simply the things about my life, and know about yours too!

So, I hope this blog to be the refresh button I’m looking for. I would love to know about your idea of getting out of the typical work-life schedule in your lives.

I’ll keep it short this time! Hope to see you all soon with your idea of the “refresh” button.

Yours typically, me!
